The entire nation is hooked to every update about the unfortunate attack against Saif Ali Khan as the Mumbai police continue the investigation as we speak. A burglar with the intention of robbery entered Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Mumbai residence, and when Khan tried to confront and protect his family, the thief stabbed him six times, leaving him wounded. Two were major wounds, and the actor was immediately taken to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. The police have been looking for the culprit ever since, and there were viral claims that they even arrested the main accused. However, the police have now confirmed that they have not arrested anyone in relation to the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case as of yet.
Saif Ali Khan Stabbing Row Update
A manhunt was launched by the Mumbai police throughout the city, and the main accused is being searched. The video from the CCTV footage gave the cops a face so they could hunt him down. It is said that he used the fire exit staircase to enter the premises of the 11th floor where Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan stay. It was being said that the accused has been arrested and has been brought to the Bandra police station and is being questioned by the police. Even some videos went viral of the cops taking a man into custody.
But it turns out the man in those viral videos from the Bandra police station is nowhere connected to the Saif Ali Khan stabbing row, and the reports are not true. As per ANI, the police have confirmed the same. The tweet from the portal reads, “The person brought to Bandra police station for questioning is not related to the Saif Ali Khan Attack Case. No one is detained in Saif Ali Khan Attack Case as of now: Mumbai police.”
Meanwhile, early investigations had come to the conclusion that the attack was done with the intention of robbery, and the attacker demanded Rs 1 crore from the actor’s family. Kareena Kapoor last night issued a statement regarding the same, requesting everyone to give the family privacy to process and heal from the unfortunate turn of events.
The statement read, “It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage. While we appreciate the concern and support, the constant scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also pose a significant risk to our safety. I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family. I would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation during this sensitive time.”
