Pictures of Saif Ali Khan, the Kapoor family, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent meeting in Delhi quickly went viral. In an interview with HT City, Khan discussed the memorial gathering for the late actor Raj Kapoor, expressing his concern about the PM's tiredness due to Kapoor's arrival after a day in Parliament. However, he was kind, smiling, attentive, and charming to everyone!
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Neetu Singh, and Aadar and Armaan Jain were among those in attendance.
Khan continued by saying that he is glad he could have been involved via Kareena, Karishma, and Ranbir. The actor said it was indeed a privilege for the family to share a stamp of Raj Kapoor with PM Modi in commemoration of his 100th birthday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about Saif's parents, Sharmila Tagore and the late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. The actor shared that on an individual level, he enquired about his parents and mentioned that he believed they might invite Kareena and his sons Taimur and Jehangir to see him. After Kareena urged the PM to do so, he wrote a note for them. It seemed to Saif that he was juggling a lot of responsibilities as PM of the country while still making time to connect with people on this level.
When the actor enquired as to the PM's sleep duration, he mentioned approximately three hours. For Saif, it was a day to remember, and they expressed their gratitude for PM making time out of his busy schedule to meet with them and show the family so much respect.
On the professional front, Saif last appeared in Devara: Part 1. Siddharth Anand will produce Jewel Thief: The Red Sun Chapter, the actor's upcoming direct-to-OTT release. The film showcases a high-stakes heist with people at odds, and the release date is yet to be announced.
