Director Om Raut is gearing up for Adipurush, which is a retelling of one of the oldest myths about good triumphing over evil, the fight between Ram and Ravana. In the film, Prabhas is tasked with bringing the virtuous Raghav to the big screen, while Saif Ali Khan takes on the role of the larger-than-life Lankesh. It's indeed a difficult assignment to fill Lord Ram's shoes, but the Omkara actor believes the Telugu superstar is the right man for the job.

During an interaction with Mid Day, Saif calls Prabhas a delicate performer, which is interesting because he is playing a challenging part. The actor concluded filming the mythical drama earlier this month. Saif further calls Prabhas a formidable performer and sees why the actor is such a great star. The Bhoot Police actor praised the Baahubali star by saying that he has a lot of charisma on screen. 

Off-screen, their characters may be at odds, but Saif finds a charming young man with a mischievous sense of humor in Prabhas. 

Saif went on to reveal that they pulled off some heavy-duty action moments between Raghav and Lankesh, but they also had their share of laughs as Prabhas and Saif. Thus, the struggle between their characters might be exciting to watch on the screen, added the actor.

It is fair to assume that even Saif had a difficult time portraying Lankesh's villainy as an actor. The actor claimed that Prabhas' task was more difficult.

Saif told the tabloid that Lankesh isn't a divine incarnation, and with his costume, styling, and performance, one can be as creative as they want. The actor further shared that people will support them as long as their intentions are correct. However, there is a traditional interpretation of Raghav's function that one must adhere to.
