Saif Ali Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat’s next film with Siddharth Anand titled Jewel Thief – Know its OTT platform here

Fans have eagerly awaited producer Siddharth Anand's unnamed Netflix project since May 2023. Notably, it ventures into the realm of heist thrillers, a relatively uncommon subgenre in Bollywood cinema. A significant aspect is the casting of two renowned actors in opposing roles: Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat. Saif Ali Khan, known for his Netflix debut in the acclaimed series Sacred Games, is slated to headline the OTT film directed by Robbie Grewal. Grewal, enthusiastic about the concept, is eager to commence filming at the earliest opportunity. While details of the story are not known yet, reports today suggest that the film has got a title.

According to a report published on Pinkvilla today, Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat starrer is titled ‘Jewel Thief’ and will be released on Netflix this year. Sources close to the development told the news portal that the Robbie Grewal-directed movie is not related to the original film starring the iconic Dev Anand.

Additionally, the reports believed that the shooting has been wrapped up and the film is slated to premiere later this year on Netflix. “The film is essentially a heist focusing on the battle royale between Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat,” the report read.

Siddharth Anand and his busy professional life

Siddharth Anand has an extremely busy schedule lined up for 2024 and 2025. After winding up the production of Jewel Thief, Siddharth would be occupied with two productions, each helmed by Rohit Dhawan and Sujoy Ghosh, respectively. The project with Dhawan is set to feature Tiger Shroff in the lead role, while the latter is a high-profile action film starring Shah Rukh Khan alongside Suhana Khan.
