Sai Durga Tej's next titled Sambarala Yetigattu: First look teaser shocks one and all

Sai Durga Tej, one of the most talented actors in Telugu cinema, has faced a series of setbacks with back-to-back flops. Adding to his challenges, he suffered a serious bike accident that kept him out of action for a significant period. However, he has made a strong comeback and is now gearing up for his new film Sambarala Yetigattu.

The teaser and title of the film were unveiled today by Ram Charan at a grand event in Hyderabad. Touted as a rustic period drama, the film showcases Sai Durga Tej in a completely new avatar. For the first time in his career, he sports a six-pack look, which has left fans and audiences stunned.

After being bedridden for months due to his accident and even temporarily losing his voice, Tej’s transformation is nothing short of remarkable. His dedication shines through in the striking first look of Sambarala Yetigattu.

The film boasts a grand canvas, a rich backdrop, and a stellar supporting cast, indicating it will be a massive production in every aspect. The teaser opens with voiceovers from Srikanth, Jagapathi Babu, and others, hinting at an intense action-packed narrative centered on Sai Durga Tej’s character arc. Aishwarya Lekshmi plays the female lead in this film.

The project was produced by K. Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy of Primeshow Entertainment and directed by newcomer Rohith KP. The producers deserve credit for placing immense faith in Rohith's vision and investing heavily to bring it to life. Ram Charan, who launched the teaser, praised the promo and expressed his surprise at Tej’s incredible transformation. He also jokingly urged Tej to consider tying the knot to fulfill his mother’s wishes.

Set against the backdrop of Rayalaseema, Sambarala Yetigattu is elevated further by its powerful background score, which adds intensity to the teaser. The makers have announced the film's release date as September 25, 2025.
