Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3 clocks 6 years! Here's where to watch Sanjay Dutt, Jimmy Sheirgill's crime thriller on OTT

Starring Sanjay Dutt, Jimmy Shergill, Mahie Gill, and Chitrangada Singh in the lead roles, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 opened to mixed reviews upon its theatrical release on July 27, 2018. The film is the third installment in the Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster franchise and is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. The crime thriller completed 6 years of its theatrical release today. Helmed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 is currently streaming on ZEE5. The narrative of the film starts where the second film in the franchise ends. Aditya Pratap Singh (Jimmy) along with his wife Madhavi (Mahie) are still playing games with each other. Aditya has now returned after serving his jail time and is trying to regain his political legacy. The chain of accidents begins when he meets a London-returned Rajasthan prince Uday Pratap Singh (Sanjay Dutt).

The film was a box office failure upon its release. Speaking about its failure at the ticket window, the director of the film Tigmanshu Dhulia, in an old interview said, "We deviated from the original soul of Saheb Biwi aur Gangster. That film was not balanced. There was Jimmy, Mahie, and then Sanjay Dutt. So the balance was wrong," The director further said that the casting of Sanjay Dutt was wrong. He told PTI, "I could not have changed the leads because they are in continuity, it is the gangster who always changes. It is not Sanjay's fault. The casting from our side was wrong."

Meanwhile, the Saheb, Biwi, Aur Gangster series featured Mahie Gill and Jimmy Sheirgill as a royal couple with a new gangster in each installment. While the first two films featured Irrfan Khan and Randeep Hooda as the gangsters, the third part had Sanjay Dutt playing the part.
