Sabitri Chatterjee refutes rumours about her health issues

On Friday, a piece of news on veteran actress Sabitri Chatterjee’s health circulated on social media. According to those fake reports, the actress was ill and was taking support of nebulizer at her place. The news eventually became viral. However, that report was baseless and the actress cleared the air herself.

Sabitri Chatterjee dismissed the news as a rumor and said that she was fine. Evidently, she was irked by the fake news. The octogenarian is active on television and films. In her career spanning six decades, the heroine of stars like Uttam Kumar and Soumitra Chatterjee has made Bengali cinema rich with her acting.

Recently, Sabitri was seen in the film Pradhan, also starring Dev and Soham Chakraborty. In the film, she plays Dev, aka Deepak Pradhan’s grandmother. She also played the grandmother in the serial Dhulokona. The veteran actress likes to keep herself fit and decked up.
