Vascodagama is directed by debutant RJ Krishnan and has Nakkhul playing a gentle rowdy

A glimpse of Nakkhul's latest project, Vasco Da Gama, directed by RG Krishnan, was released recently. Now, we hear that the video has surpassed more than 1 million views. The film's director, in the meantime, shared that they showed the same to Saani Kaayidham star Selvaraghavan and that the ace director immediately burst out laughing.
Sharing a picture with Selvaraghavan and the lead actor of Vascodagama, Nakkhul, RJ Krishnan took to his social media handle, and wrote, "The moment Selvaraghavan sir watched the first glimpse of our movie Vascodagama and the moment he laughed it loud both were the best moments in our life. https://youtu.be/Q-QuQymLA_c Thank you sir @Selvaraghavan @mohandreamer Dear❤️ charmimg star @Nakkhul_Jaidev (sic)." Nakkhul, too, thanked Selvaraghavan for taking the time out to watch the teaser.

Vasco Da Gama is said to be a comedy drama where Nakkhul will be seen as a gentle rowdy and wants only good things to happen around him and continues to fix the wrongdoings. The star cast includes KS Ravikumar, Munishkanth and Mottai Rajendran. The first-look poster of the film was launched on the occasion Valentine's Day. Nakkhul had then written on his social media page, "Bringing you the colourful and vibrant look of #vascodagamathemovie with official announcement as #Diwali2022 release. #happyvalentinesday (sic)." The film is bankrolled by Dato Subhaskharan under the banner, 5656 Productions.
