Saani Kaayidham release date: When and where to watch this action drama starring Selvaraghavan and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles online

Arun Matheswaran's Saani Kaayidham is one of the most-anticipated Tamil films of the year. The shooting of the movie was completed last year and there were unofficial reports about the project skipping theatrical release and going the OTT way. A while ago, the makers had confirmed the same.

Acclaimed filmmaker Selvaraghavan and Keerthy Suresh play lead roles in the film; it marks the former's acting debut and this is the first time the duo has teamed up for a project. The movie is director Arun's sophomore film; Rocky, which released in theatres a few months ago, was his debut directorial project.  

What's Saani Kaayidham about?

The film revolves around the life of two people who set out to take revenge against a group of powerful goons after their lives were destroyed by the criminals. Selva essays Sangaiah, a gas delivery person while Keerthy plays a police constable, in the film. How fate changes their life topsy-turvy forms the crux of the story.

The makers released the movie's teaser and trailer recently which offered a glimpse into its story and genre. Yamini Yagnamurthy has cranked the camera while Nagooran has handled its editing.

When and where to watch Saani Kaayidham online?

The movie will be released on Amazon Prime Video on May 6. Screen Scene Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd has produced the film which has music composed by Sam CS. Dhilip Subbarayan has choreographed action scenes for Saani Kaayidham which has VFX supervision by Harihara Suthan.

Though Saani Kaayidham was supposed to drop on the OTT platform last year, its release was postponed by a few months owing to reasons best known to the makers. Though the movie marks Selva's acting debut, his second project as an actor, Beast, released earlier last month.
