Rupam Islam on Abar Aranye: This is one of my favourite songs in recent time

Rupam Islam just celebrated his birthday and a bevy of celebrities attended the party to greet the rockstar. Soon after the party was over, he was all set to gift his fans a new song, Abar Aranye. The song, along with a music video, will be released on February 8. 

The video is directed by Jayabrata Das and is shot by Suman Parui. Rik, Alexandra Taylor, Atmadeep Ghosh, Moulika Sajwal, and Payel Roy have enacted in the music video. While Rupam has given his voice to the music video young music director Soumya Rit has worked as the songwriter. The music video is produced by Pluto Entertainment and Prateek Chakravorty. 

Talking about the song, Rupam said, “This song is one of my favourite numbers which I have recorded in recent days. The lyrics, composition, and above all the sound arrangement are so unique and universal that I couldn’t resist appreciating the song numerous times. I hope people will definitely love the refreshing vibe of the song and it will eventually become as popular as my other contemporary songs have become.”

While speaking about the video Jayabrata said, “Four friends plan for a road trip in the forests of Doors to escape the mundane city life. During the trip, although pre-planned by two other friends, one guy meets his ex-girlfriend who is from Ireland after a long time. She also joins their road trip and the once-separated couple finds their old spark and love during the journey and for all of them this expedition into the forest turns into a journey of self-discovery and understanding of life.”
