Rupali Ganguly's stepdaughter Esha Verma admits feeling unsafe around Anupamaa actress; calls her and Ashwin Verma 'bullies'

Television actress Rupali Ganguly has been mired in a controversy because of her stepdaughter Esha Verma. She is the daughter of Rupali's husband Ashwin Verma from his second marriage. Esha leveled serious allegations against the Anupamaa actress. The 26-year-old claimed that Rupali cornered her and threatened her mother (Ashwin's second wife). Now, Esha shared an emotional video blaming her father and leveling fresh allegations against him and Rupali.

Esha Verma felt 'unsafe' around Rupali Ganguly

Esha posted a video on her Instagram account and shared her side of the story. The young girl said she may be 26 today, but the 'pain and memories' of her childhood remain. Esha feels the things of her past affect her present and future. She further called her dad Ashwina and stepmom Rupali 'bullies'.

"I realised that from all of this, I stood up against my bullies. My true bullies in my life. Not only did they hurt someone who I truly love - my mother; they chose to hurt me. They chose not to acknowledge me. They chose to abandon me, criticise me, and pick on my insecurities so I wouldn't feel good about myself," said Verma.

Esha claimed that Rupali built her character and career off lies and hurt others. She further mentioned, "I'm sorry this had to go this far. But you (her dad Ashwin) have never apologised to me ever no did you listen. You always shut me down. I felt unsafe around her (Rupali) especially. I tried to open up to you and you would never take my side." Esha recalled telling her friends and family that she wanted to be a filmmaker like her dad Ashwin. However, he never encouraged that.

Esha Verma apologises to Rudransh

In the same video, the 26-year-old apologized to Ashwin and Rupali's son Rudransh, whom she calls her 'little brother'. "I hope papa is being the dad for you, that he couldn’t be for me and our sister," mentioned Esha.

For the uninitiated, Rupali and Ashwin were blessed with their son Rudransh in 2013, the same year when they got married.
