Run Baby Run on Hotstar: RJ Balaji comes up with a hilarious promo video ahead of the film's OTT premiere

Run Baby Run, starring RJ Balaji in the lead, is getting ready for its digital premiere. The movie, which was released in theatres on February 3, is dropping on Disney+ Hotstar on March 10. The film, upon its release last month, garnered decent reviews from critics.

Its gripping screenplay in the first half, background score by Sam CS and sincere performance from artists were appreciated by the audience. Aishwarya Rajesh, Vivek Prasanna and Joe Malloori among others essayed crucial characters in the project which was helmed by Jiyen Krishnakumar.

Balaji, who is known for his quirky humour, came up with a couple of funny videos to promote the movie last month, Now, ahead of the thriller flick's OTT premiere, he has done it again. Hotstar shared a short promo video which has the host-turned-actor entertaining the viewers again with his trademark humour.

He sarcastically took a dig at the trend in Kollywood where orchestrated hashtags are trending on social media after a film completes a month in theatres and adding "isms" to a movie's title or an actor's name to celebrate them. Balaji also mocked those who expressed fake disappointment to him over not watching Run Baby Run citing illogical reasons like regular housefull shows.

He has requested everyone to watch the film without fail this time as the movie will be streaming from this Friday. Run Baby Run is the actor's first outing in 2023 and marks his first attempt at the thriller genre.

Radhika Sarathkumar and Isha Talwar have played cameo roles in the project which has been bankrolled by Prince Pictures. It revolves around a bank employee who faces a slew of issues after he tries to dispose of the body of a young woman who enters his life in an unexpected circumstance.
