The action thriller, directed by S Kathiresan, has Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead

Raghava Lawrence's high energetic dance number Jorthaale seems to have set the internet on fire. The song has already clocked 6 million views in a span of 24 hours. The moves from the song have become a huge hit, and Raghava Lawrence himself had stated that Jorthaale was one of the most energetic and loved introduction songs among his films. Rudhran is an action thriller, written by KP Thirumurugan, and directed by debutant S Kathiresan.

The film stars Raghava Lawrence, R Sarathkumar, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Nassar, Sachu, Shivajith, Redin Kingsley and Kaali Venkat. While music for the film is by GV Prakash Kumar and Dharan Kumar, the background score is by Sam CS. Dharan has recreated the popular retro number Paadatha Pattellam, which was originally sung by PB Sreenivas and S Janaki. The remix version is sung by Sathyaprakash, Nithyashree, Venkatramanan and Emcee D. The cinematography for Rudhran is by RD Rajasekhar, editing is by Anthony.
Though Raghava Lawrence is busy promoting the action thriller which is gearing up to hit screens tomorrow, that hasn't stopped him from contributing to his charity work. During the audio launch of Rudhran, Raghava Lawrence presented Rs 10 lakh to KPY Bala to aid the education of 25 children. He had also adopted 150 children at the event. Taking to his social media handle, Raghava Lawrence, wrote, "I’m extremely happy to share the news of adopting 150 children and providing them with education as a new venture from rudhran audio launch. I need all your blessings #Serviceisgod (sic)."
In the meantime, Raghava Lawrence has wrapped up the shoot for the sequel to his upcoming horror thriller, Chandramukhi 2. The film has Kangana Ranaut as the leading lady, along with an ensemble cast which includes Radikaa Sarathkumar, Vadivelu, Srushti Dange, Mahima Nambiar, Lakshmi Menon, Suresh Menon, Manobala, Ravi Maria to name a few. The film is directed by P Vasu, who had helmed Chandramukhi (2005), which starred Rajinikanth, Jyotika, Prabhu and Nayanthara in the lead.
