The first look of the much-awaited Tamil movie Rudhran is out. Raghava Lawrence unleashes his mass avatar, beating the goons black and blue in the poster which has been released in six languages. The poster also features a blood-spattered ground where many goons are lying unconscious.

He is seen wielding a long rod in his right hand and is pulling someone's hair with his left hand. Going by the poster, it seems to be from an action-packed sequence in the film. The poster comes with the tagline "Evil is not born, it is created". The makers have also announced that the project will be released around Christmas. Last year, they had announced April 14, 2022 as its release date.

The film which will be released in five languages has Kathiresan producing the movie under Five Star Creations, apart from wielding the megaphone for it. The movie marks his directorial debut as well. Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead in the project.

KP Thirumaaran has penned story and screenplay for the movie which has cinematography and editing by RJ Rajasekar and Anthony respectively. Siva and Vicky have choreographed action scenes for Rudhran which has art direction by Raju and dance choreography by Sridhar.

The updates on Rudhran's first single, teaser and trailer are expected to be out in the coming months. GV Prakash has composed music for the movie.

The film will be Lawrence's first release in the pandemic era; his last release Kanchana 3 was released in 2019. He will next be seen in Durai Senthil Kumar's Adhigaram, P Vasu's Chandramukhi and Durga. Lawrence had earlier announced that stunt choreographer duo Anbariv will be at the helm of Ganga, but they backed off due to reasons best known to them.
