RRR: SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR, Ram Charan and team to announce a 'never seen before' collaboration on October 29

One of the most-anticipated films across the globe, SS Rajamouli's RRR, starring Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in pivotal roles, is gearing up for a worldwide release on January 7, 2022, a week ahead of the Sankranti festival. Reports have suggested the team is all set to make a major announcement about the film on October 29. Audiences, ever since, have been wildly speculating, coming up with various theories on what to expect from team RRR this Friday. Putting all such rumours to rest, the makers of RRR have shared a post across their social media handles today. 

"Get ready to witness a never seen before and unheard collaboration for any film in the world on this October 29th. This is going to be one of it’s kind! Stay tuned for an exciting #RRRMovie update on the same day," the post from the official social media handle of RRR reads. Reportedly, RRR is set to associate with a theatre/multiplex chain to create buzz about the film in grand, SS Rajamouli-style. Some portals have suggested that PVR Cinemas may be collaboration that team RRR is hinting at. 

RRR was shot across Hyderabad, Georgia and other locations in a filming schedule that has gone on for over two and a half years now. The team had to also halt the shoot during the first and the second waves of the COVID-19 pandemic. The film is produced by DVV Danayya under DVV Entertainment, cinematographed by Senthil Kumar and has music by MM Keeravani. RRR is a historical fiction drama based on the lives of freedom fighter Alluri Seetharamaraju and revolutionary leader Komaram Bheem.
