RRR makers announce their next; Pawan Kalyan and Saaho director Sujeeth to team up!

This was a surprise coming out of the blues! DVV Movies, the makers of RRR, have announced their upcoming project, which happens to be another biggie. Yes, they are next bankrolling a film directed by Run Raja Run, Saaho filmmaker Sujeeth, which will star actor, politician Pawan Kalyan in the lead. Ravi Chandran will be cranking the camera for the film produced by DVV Danayya. The project was formally announced on Sunday.

Besides the untitled project, the banner is also backing two other films - Chiranjeevi's next with Venky Kudumula, Prasanth Varma's superhero film with debutant Kalyan Dasari.

"Glad to be a part of this very big journey once again with @PawanKalyan garu .. Dynamic young Director @sujeethsign‘s original script and the fantastic producer #D. V. V. Danayya @DVVMovies.. can’t wait to start," cinematographer Ravi K Chandran shared his excitement about the film. While Sujeeth was in contention to direct Godfather, the Telugu remake of Lucifer, in the project's early stages, the discussions didn't materialise beyond a point. His last release as a director was Saaho.

Pawan Kalyan is currently shooting for Hari Hara Veera Mallu, director Krish's period drama presented by AM Rathnam. After he wraps up HHVM, he is also expected to give bulk dates for Harish Shankar's Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh, a long delayed project to be produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The actor will also be the face of the Vinodaya Sitham remake, to be helmed by Samuthirakani.
