SS Rajamouli's RRR has already emerged one of the biggest hits of Indian cinema, grossing over Rs 1000 crore and turning out to be blockbuster across all the five versions - Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. The popularity of its lead stars Jr NTR, Ram Charan has reached stratospheric levels and the film did a commendable job in introducing two war heroes like Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju to audiences across the globe.
The songs of RRR have particularly drawn praise from several corners, be it Komuram Bheemudo or Janani or Etthara Jenda or Naatu Naatu. The songs worked better within the context of the film than as standalone numbers and it has grown on listeners after the film's release. Audiences were in awe of the initial lullaby, Komma Uyyala, the number crooned by a young girl Prakruthi Reddy, as well and have been waiting with bated breath to listen to the number officially online.
If you're a fan of Komma Uyyala, here's some good news. The video version of the song will release across five languages tomorrow at 4 pm, the music labels Lahari Music and T-Series have announced. "Gear up to tune to the heartfelt song of the year! #KommaUyyala #AmberSeToda #KombaaUnKaada #KombeUyyale #KombaNinnKaada. Full Video Song will be out at 4 PM tomorrow. An @mmkeeravaani Musical! #RRRMovie. Audio on @LahariMusic @TSeries," they tweeted.
In the song announcement poster, Jr NTR is seen carrying a tribal girl (who is kidnapped in the film) on his shoulder in the middle of a forest. Prakruthi Reddy, who has crooned for the number in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada, was selected for the film after her impressive performance in Annamayya Paataku Pattabhishekam, a singing competition on the television channel SVBC, in which MM Keeraavani was a judge.
RRR also starred Alia Bhatt, Samuthirakani, Olivia Morris, Ajay Devgn and others in pivotal roles. Cinematographed by KK Senthil Kumar, RRR was edited by A Sreekar Prasad and had production design Sabu Cyril. ZEE5 has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of RRR across all South Indian languages while Netflix will stream the Hindi version of the film. The OTT release date hasn't been announced yet.
