Roti Kapada Romance OTT release date: When and where to watch the romantic drama

Roti Kapada Romance is a low-budget film that hit the screens on November 28, 20 24, starring Harsha Narra, Sandeep Saroj, Supraj Ranga, Tarun, and Sonu Thakur in lead roles. Surprisingly, the film's OTT rights were sold within a week of its release. According to reports, ETV Win acquired the digital rights for a decent price and will make the film available for streaming on December 12, 2024.

The makers of Roti Kapada Romance promoted it aggressively, but unfortunately, it failed to impress audiences and was pulled from theaters just three days after its release. However, its rapid arrival on OTT within a week is unexpected and reflects the extent of its box-office failure.

Directed by debutant Vikram Reddy, the film features cinematography by Santhosh Reddy and music composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, RR Dhruvan, and Vasanth G. Sunny MR provided the background score.

ETV Win buys rights to Roti Kapada Romance

ETV Win has been on a roll lately, acquiring the rights to various Telugu films back-to-back. Their latest release, KA, featuring Kiran Abbavaram, is a period drama that is already streaming on the platform, having clocked over 150 million streaming minutes. ETV reportedly invested heavily in acquiring the rights to KA and has taken a similar approach with Roti Kapada Romance.

The story of Roti Kapada Romance had potential, especially in portraying the challenges of today's youth. Unfortunately, the narration fell short of expectations, leaving much of that potential untapped.
