Vijay Antony, who made his directorial debut this year with Pichaikkaran 2, announced his new production house recently. It has been titled Good Devil. Romeo, being helmed by Vinayak Vaithianathan, is the first outing from the banner. Billed as a romantic flick, it marks Vijay's first love drama.

Mirnalini Ravi plays the female lead in the film; the makers unveiled its first look some time ago. It had the actors looking at each other with an intense expression. The movie will be released in Telugu under the title Love Guru.

Vijay reveals Romeo's release plans

He took to Twitter to update that the crew had wrapped up a crucial and challenging schedule which was shot in Tenkasi. A picture that has the entire team members posing for a photo was also posted. Mrinalini, Ilavarasu, VTV Ganesh, Thalaivasal Vijay and Sreeja Ravi are seen in the picture along with Vijay.

According to Vijay, the plan is to release the movie during the summer season in 2024. He had three releases this year, Tamilarasan, Pichaikkaran 2 and Kolai, and has a few projects waiting in his kitty. 

Vijay turns editor again

He himself will be editing Romeo, but the music direction is by Barath Dhanasekar. The multi-talented actor has been trying his hands at various crafts for a while. Pichaikkaran 2 had him directing, editing and composing for the project. Farook J Basha cranks the camera for Romeo.

Kamal Nathan and Murali G are handling art direction and action scenes respectively for the film. Agni Siragugal, Ratham, Valli Mayil and Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan are a few of Vijay's movies that are lying in the cans.
