Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani song Tum Kya Mile announcement: Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt set to serenade viewers in Karan Johar style

After an exciting teaser, the makers of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani are all set to release the first song from the film. Titled Tum Kya Mile, the love ballad features the lead actors, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, getting all things romantic. The announcement was made via social media pages with a glimpse of the much-awaited song.

The short tease also features Ranveer and Alia in snow while getting lost in each other's eyes. As they made the announcement, Dharma Productions wrote on their Instagram page, "We heard you! The dreamy love song that’s got everyone crooning is about to completely serenade you into the new era! Get ready for the dream team to make you fall in love! #TumKyaMile song - OUT TOMORROW! #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani, a film by Karan Johar in his 25th anniversary year, in cinemas on July 28. (sic)"

The dream team of Karan Johar, Pritam, Amitabh Bhattacharya, Arijit Singh, and Shreya Ghoshal created the song. While the video is choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant.

Before announcing the song, the makers dropped major hints with timestamps from popular KJo songs, including Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Title Track, Suraj Hua Maddham, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Title Track, Tumhi Dekho Naa, Tere Naina, Koi Mil Gaya, and Rock N Roll Soniye.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani boasts an ensemble cast including Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in supporting roles.

Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy are the writers of the movie's screenplay.

On June 20, 2023, the film's teaser trailer premiered. Due to production issues, the film's original release dates of February 10 and April 28, 2023, had to be pushed back. The release date has been set for July 28, 2023.

This is the first time Karan is directing Ranveer in a film and the second time for Alia after her debut film, Student of the Year.
