Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani: Dharmendra-Shabana Azmi get romantic in the new still from Karan Johar's film

Dharmendra Deol and Shabana Azmi are extensively shooting for Karan Johar's directorial, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film features Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, and Jaya Bachchan in a supporting role. A lot of photos and videos from the sets have made it to the Internet. Now, Deol took to his Twitter page and shared a beautiful photo posing with Azmi from the sets of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.

In the photo, both the legendary actors are seen hugging each other. However, the Sholay actor wrote the caption wherein he spoke about his love for his camera. It is read as "Ishq hai Mujhe Camere se... aur Camere ko... Shaid mujh se..."

Earlier, while talking about being a part of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Dharmendra had told WION News that Karan had offered him an amazing part. It not only fits his age and looks, but it's also the type of endearing character that his fans enjoy seeing him play.

The original He-Man of the Hindi screen says that his fans dislike him in dark roles. The veteran actor only played "grey" in Ayee Milan Ki Bela once, and I didn't like it. Since then, Dharmendra has avoided dark negative roles. In Karan's film, his character is a man that everyone will adore.

On reuniting with Jaya and Shabana in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Dharmendra went on to say that he had already worked with them earlier. He played the lead in Jaya's debut film, Guddi, and they later collaborated on Samadhi and Sholay, although he didn't have many scenes with her in Sholay. However, Dharmendra had a lot of fun with Amit (Amitabh Bachchan) and Jaya while we were filming it.

Regarding Shabana, the Pratigya actor said that they worked together on a film called Mardon Wali Baat, which was directed by a wonderful man named Brij Sadanah. They were going to collaborate on another project, Bichchoo, and it was a great subject for Sai Paranjpye to direct. Unfortunately, it never took off.
