Robert Pattinson feels like a newcomer in the industry, after the SAG-AFTRA strike

Robert Pattinson, who rose to fame with the Twilight film-series and became a global star, stunned the audience as Batman last year. After witnessing a teenager highschooler in Twilight, the massive transformation in The Batman was undoubtedly pleasing to watch. Even though people are quite fond of Ben Affleck, it was quite surprising to watch them favouring Pattinson.

Pattinson's upcoming projects

This year, Robert was not seen in any films yet, although it's been reported that he will be coming back next year with a thrilling sci-fi Mickey 17, and again as Batman in 2025. For the unversed, Mickey 17 will be directed by the South Korean director Bong Joon-Ho, who won Oscars for Parasite.

Pattinson's feeling as newcomer

However, recently in an exclusive interview for Wonderland magazine along with his Batman co-star Barry Keoghan, Robert shared that nowadays he feels like he went back to his early days, and whenever he goes for shooting he feels like a newcomer in the industry. It's been more than two decades, Pattinson is working in the entertainment industry, yet he shared, “I feel more nervous when I don’t get nervous. That’s why whenever I start a new job. I mean it doesn’t really help that I’m hardly doing any jobs at the moment, because I wish I was doing more. ”

Robert feels like a total fake

The 37-year-old actor shared that he feels like he has come back to the starting days, “I know the next time I do something, I’ll be like, I can’t remember how to do any of this stuff. It’s kind of nice to go into it as an amateur every time and be like, ‘This is a huge mountain to climb.’ It’s like being a total fake again.”

Robert Pattinson is currently making quite headlines as he is expecting his first child with partner Suki Waterhouse, and will be welcoming the baby in early 2024.
