'Roberrt' girl Asha Bhat has a fan-girl moment with Sudha Murthy

Kannada actor and former Miss Supranational Asha Bhat had a bonafide fan-girl moment recently. The 'Robbert' actress was in Delhi for a special event where she would run into the author and philanthropist Sudha Murthy, a small glimpse of which Asha Bhat shared later through social media. Asha, who was evidently in complete awe of Sudha Murthy, also penned an endearing note for the latter.

With the one and only @_sudha_murthy ma'am. A woman par excellence. The one person who never fails to inspire me❤️Her benevolence and humility amaze me 🙏From cooking recipes to markets, films, and life I think we covered everything 😬" wrote Asha Bhat in her recent Instagram post. Bearing a bright smile, Asha looked completely thrilled in the company of the Padma Shri awardee.

Sudha Murthy, the current chairperson of the Infosys Foundation, is a celebrated author, philanthropist, and former engineer. As an author, she has composed books in both Kannada and English and has been featured in several newspapers as a columnist. She is married N.R. Narayan Murthy, co-founder of Infosys.

Asha Bhat, on the other hand, made her Kannada cinema debut in 2021 opposite the Challenging Star Darshan in 'Roberrt'. She played the female lead Amrutha in the film and received good praise for her assured performance. Asha also has a YouTube channel to her name that often showcases her singing talent - she is also the first Indian to win 3the Miss Supranational pageant in 2014 and has a number of other reputed pageantry titles to her name. She made her acting debut in 2019 with the Hindi film 'Junglee' opposite Vidyut Jamwal.
