Keedaa Cola, a crime comedy directed by Tharun Bhascker, released in theatres today

Raghu Ram, who shot to fame with the reality show MTV Roadies, went all out to promote his first Telugu film Keedaa Cola across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana recently. Not many are aware of the fact that he’s a Telugu boy and can speak the language fluently. Keedaa Cola, the Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam directorial, in more ways than one, reintroduces Raghu to the Telugu audience.
Keedaa Cola has opened to decent responses all over and has begun well at the box office. In the crime comedy, Raghu Ram is cast as a ruthless goon play a pivotal role named Shots, a Conflict Manager for a soft drink company. The film managed to create just the right buzz prior to its release with its whacky promos and quirky characters.

Would you be surprised if we said Raghu Ram didn’t know Tharun Bhascker initially? The actor said, “O didn’t know him before I met him, but now I’m a huge fan of Tharun.” The show host and actor is all praise for the latter’s versatility as a writer, actor and as a director. “I’m proud to call him a friend now.” For the uninitiated, Raghu had also acted in Hindi, Punjabi and Tamil films.
He’s more familiar to South Indian audiences through theTamil film Doctor, which was later dubbed in Telugu as Varun Doctor. Much like Tharun Bhascker, his ability to transition between roles has contributed to his growing popularity and acclaim among viewers and critics alike. He has a fresh and original approach to acting and brings a unique vision to most of his appearances.
Beyond Keedaa Cola, Raghu is confirmed to star in a promising Telugu film next. He is keen on making the opportunities within the Telugu industry and has also begun looking for a house in Hyderabad. Some of the Hindi films that he’s worked on, include Jhootha Hi Sahi, Tees Maar Khan.
