Ridhima Ghosh breaks her pregnancy news on social media on Poila Boishakh

It is the first day of the Bengali New Year. Ridhima Ghosh and Gaurav Chakrabarty took to their social media to announce the news of her pregnancy. In her post, she flaunts her baby bump. 

Talking to OTTplay, Ridhima said, “It is an auspicious day for all the Bengalis across the world. Hence, we wanted to break the news on this day.” When we asked what was the reaction of Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, her father-in-law, she said, “Very happy. Every single one in the family is very happy with the news.” 

On her Instagram post, Ridhima is seen in a white lace dress and Gaurav, in a crisp blue shirt and jeans. The couple looks bright and happy. “A grand adventure is about to begin… On this auspicious day of Poila Boishakh, we are so glad to let you know that we are expecting a baby! Keep us in your thoughts and prayers.” Their co-workers and fans flooded the comment section with congratulatory notes. Actress Anusha Viswanathan wrote, “Congratulations and lots of love.” Falaque Rashid Roy wrote, “Beautiful news.”

Gaurav and Ridhima tied the knot on November 2017 after seven years of courtship. In Kaushik Ganguly’s 2011 film Rang Milanti, the duo first worked together. The couple has worked together on several occasions. Recently, they were seen in Anjan Dutt’s web series Seven on Zee5.
