Speaking to news outlet HT City today, Ridhi Dogra shared about her struggle with anxiety, especially on the set of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan. “Every time I was on the set, my days were anxiety-driven. When you’re not the primary character, you don’t know what the output will be. You don’t want to make stupid choices and [can only] hope that whatever you signed up for, comes true,” she said.

The actress further highlighted that she was “never scared to approach” Jawan director Atlee and talk about her anxiety struggle. “He was well aware that I had a lot of anxiety. I shared it with him and was always met with a lot of comfort,” Ridhi told HT City.

In Jawan, Ridhi played the role of Kaveri amma, an elderly person who acts as Shah Rukh Khan’s guardian.
