Ridhi Dogra distributes ration kits to slum residents on the occasion of Diwali

Ridhi Dogra is on a roll this year with back-to-back big movies, that too with the 2 most loved Khans from the industry. While in Jawan, she portrayed the role of Shah Rukh Khan's adopted mother Kaveri Ammar, in Tiger 3, she portrayed the role of an actress. No wonder, this is surely a big achievement for the actress, who mostly works on television.

Ridhi celebrates Diwali in a unique way

And when you earn this success, you obviously express your immense gratitude to god by showing your generosity to people. That's what Ridhi did too. On the occasion of Diwali, the 39-year-old actress teamed up with Feeding From Far, an emergency relief service, and donated more than 500 ration kits and utensils to slum residents in Machimar Nagar, Mumbai.

About Feeding From Far

Feeding From Far is an initiative that has been feeding the poor and unemployed who are struggling to feed themselves during the lockdown. We managed to distribute over 30 lakh meals to the needy since the first lockdown hit through cooked meals and ration kits.

The slum people are also looking absolutely happy and excited to receive such a big help on Diwali. Hope they will bless Ridhi Dogra from the core of their hearts.

Ridhi's television career

For the unversed, Ridhi Dogra made her television debut in 2007 with Jhoome Jiiya Re. Later she did Hindi Hai Hum in 2009, YRF Television's Rishta.com and Seven in 2010, Laagi Tujhse Lagan in 2010, Maryada…Lekin Kab Tak? from 2010-12, Savitri in 2013, Yeh Hai Aashiqui in 2014, Diya Aur Baati Hum in 2015, Woh Apna Sa from 2017-18, and Qayamat Ki Raat in 2018. She made her big Bollywood debut with Lakadbaggha this year.
