Riddhi Sen shares his experience of working with Anurag Kashyap

After more than six years, Riddhi Sen is back in Hindi films. The actor will be seen in a film directed by Anurag Kashyap. The film’s name has not yet been decided and it also features Sanya Malhotra, Saba Azad, Bobby Deol, Jitendra Joshi, Nagesh Bhosale, and others. The young actor is evidently delighted with his new venture. 

Recently, Anurag Kashyap triggered rage and controversy in Bengal by calling Bengali films ‘Ghatiya’. Many people condemned him. But Riddhi Sen differs from them. He recently worked with Anurag and thinks that he is a simple, straight, and outspoken person who is often misinterpreted. 

What did Anurag say about Bengali films? In a recent interview, the National Award winning actor said, “We misinterpreted his words. We could not accept his truthfulness and frank words.” Riddhi said that Anurag stated his personal opinion which was later presented wrongly. 

Riddhi said that Anurag lamented about the fall of the entertainment industry all over the world. Bengali films are no more in the iconic position as they used to be, and Anurag felt bad about it. He wanted to explain it. He commented while answering a question. Riddhi said, “Whatever Anurag says is from his heart. Riddhi thinks that people can not accept straight talk nowadays.” 

Riddhi also said that Anurag is a cool-headed person who cares about the actors’ problems. He explains the shots in detail and likes to chat during the breaks. The first part of the shooting ended in Mumbai. It will be a few days of break now. Hence Riddhi came back to Kolkata.
