Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have just announced that they are expecting their first child. Yes, Richa is pregnant and she made the announcement through the cutest photo with Ali Fazal and their tiny heartbeat. Richa involved maths in the equation as well though. She made the announcement in a quirky manner and then warmed everybody’s heart.

Richa’s announcement

Richa announced she is pregnant through a maths equation. She wrote the infamous 1+1 = 3. Of course, she was referring to the theory of when a man meets a woman and they fall in love, that’s how a child is born. But it was her second photo which made the clear announcement.

The second picture

In the second photo, Richa, wearing a black frill dress, was seen holding Ali’s (in a white suit and glasses) hands as the two looked into each other’s eyes with love and passion. Richa added a pregnant woman emoticon (in case that still wasn’t clear to a few).

The caption

It was her caption that spoke the loudest of them. “A tiny heartbeat is the loudest sound in our world,” Richa shared with the photos. She added a loved emoji with the caption as a confirmation that their family is growing.

Congratulations pour in

Netizens instantly showered love upon the couple. Congratulations were in order and fans started sharing red heart emoticons to express how much loved they feel after seeing the announcement.

Richa-Ali’s wedding

Richa and Ali were secretly in a relationship. They confessed to falling in love on the sets of Fukrey. After years of dating, Richa and Ali finally tied the knot on October 4, 2022 in Lucknow. The two had announced a month before that they would like their wedding to be eco-friendly and that was indeed the theme of the auspicious ceremony. Their wedding was postponed owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. The two are now married under the Special Marriage Act, since it is an interfaith wedding. The couple has documented the wedding through a documentary named RiAlity.
