REVEALED: Nana Patekar connection in the Sunny Deol-Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2

After the runaway success of the Sunny Deol-Ameesha Patel starrer ‘Gadar’, the makers of the film came up with the idea of making a sequel to the superhit film. Thus, was born ‘Gadar 2’, which stars the original starcast in the form of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. Ever since the time the makers of ‘Gadar’ announced the film’s sequel, it has been making news for all the right reasons and also a bit of wrong reason also.

Amidst all the right reasons, there is yet another surprise which has now got added to the list of reasons to watch out for in ‘Gadar 2’. And the surprise is in the form of Nana Patekar. Well… the veteran actor will not be physically present in the film. Its his voice who will kickstart the film. In other words, Nana Patekar has lent his voice to ‘Gadar 2’. The film will see Nana Patekar giving the introduction of the film ‘Gadar 2’ to the moviegoers at the very start of the film.

On the hindsight, the film’s lead actress Ameesha Patel created a stir of sorts when she took to social media and called out Anil Sharma’s production team for the non-payment of bills. For the unversed, Ameesha Patel took to social media and posted, ““Another concern of fans has been about certain incidents regarding ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS to have taken place in regards to the final schedule of GADAR 2 that took place end May in CHANDIGARH!!”.

She continued, ““There were certain queries that many technicians like make up artists,costume designers n others etc did not receive their rightful remuneration and dues from ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS!!Yes they did not !! But @ZeeStudios_ stepped in and made sure all dues were settled as they are a v professional company! Yes from accommodation, to transport to Chandigarh airport on the final day to food bills were left unpaid and cars were not provided to certain cast and crew members leaving them stranded! But yet again @zeestudios stepped in and corrected these issues caused by ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS!!!”

As for the film ‘Gadar 2’, besides Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, it also stars Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur, Luv Sinha, Manish Wadhwa and Mir Sarwar. While the film has been produced by Zee Studios and helmed by the director-producer Anil Sharma, it is slated to release in cinemas on August 11, 2023.
