Revealed! Here’s when, where Sharwanand will marry US-based techie Rakshita Reddy

Sharwanand, who kept taking a dig at his ‘single’ status and marriages for a long time in his career, finally took a step towards marriage earlier this year. He got engaged to a US-based corporate employee Rakshitha in an intimate ceremony held for friends and family earlier this year on January 26. Now, we officially have the date when the couple plans to get married.

The actor’s publicist has confirmed that he will marry Rakshita Reddy in Jaipur, Rajasthan this June. The wedding invitation is finalised and has been sent to his near and dear already. The event promises to be a grand affair lasting two days. While the mehendi function will be celebrated on June 2, the ‘pelli koduku’ function will be held a day later.

The same as the ‘pelli koduku’ event i.e. June 3, Sharwanand will tie the knot with Rakshita at the Leela Palace in Jaipur. The wedding ceremony will commence at 11 PM. From the ambience to the clothing to the food, hospitality and rituals, massive arrangements are being made at the venue and the guests are in for a lavish treat.

A formal reception is expected to be held in Hyderabad later for the tinsel town celebrities too. For the uninitiated, Rakshita Reddy is the daughter of Madhusudhan Reddy, a lawyer in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh and the granddaughter of popular politician Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy. Reports suggest that this is a love marriage approved by the parents of the couple.

The star’s last theatrical release was Oke Oka Jeetham a.k.a Kanam, streaming now on SonyLIV. He has next okayed a film to be directed by Sriram Adittya, tentatively titled Sharwa35. His career as an actor began in 2003 with Aidho Tareekhu and he turned a producer with Anish Kuruvilla’s Ko Ante Koti.
