Liam Neeson is back in yet another action-packed thriller, this time playing a father, who is desperately trying to save his children from a deadly threat. In Retribution, Neeson takes on the role of Matt Turner, a workaholic father who finds himself thrust into a terrifying ordeal when he receives a chilling phone call. With a bomb planted under the driver's seat of his SUV, Matt must follow a series of instructions from a mysterious voice, all while keeping his two teenage children calm.

The film's premise is reminiscent of both Speed and Locke, with Neeson's character confined to the confines of his vehicle as he races against time to save his family. While the majority of the action unfolds within the claustrophobic confines of the SUV, the filmmakers effectively create a sense of tension and urgency, making for a thrilling and suspenseful ride.
