Today is January 26, a day which is celebrated as ‘Republic Day’ all across our beautiful country India. Today is also known as ‘Gantantra Diwas’, where one can see utmost enthusiasm and patriotic fervour enveloping almost everywhere. The day is celebrated in order to honour with utmost respect the Constitution that was enacted on January 26, 1950.

Despite all the challenges, obstacles and victories, Mohan finds utmost solace in the heart of his motherland India… Bharat! If this is not patriotic enough, then, what is!

Song description: As such the song needs absolutely no introduction at all. The flawless manner in which the legendary Dilip Kumar performed is evergreen till date and will continue to be so. Besides him, one can also spot Hamid Ali (who is best known as the iconic actor Ajit). This is one of the earlier films where he played an extremely positive role. The camaraderie shown by these two stellar actors in the song needs to be seen in order to be believed!

Song description: This is one of those films which constituted majorly in making Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla one of the hit pairs of the ninety’s era. As for the said track, even though the film had all the ‘modern’ elements like marketing, brand integrations, the film did not deviate from its core essence of patriotism, which acted as a huge gravitational pull. 

How can anyone forget the song’s hook step that had become a national craze for a long time! Full marks to the choreographer for having choregraphed the song in such a way that, despite every possible and impossible dream that the heart dares to dream… it is still Indian. No wonder the film was titled, ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani’!
