Repeat OTT release date: When and where to watch to Naveen Chandra, Smruthi Venkat and Madhoo Shah's film

Naveen Chandra may have had a busy year with multiple releases - including Parampara 2, Ammu, Thaggede Le, Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga - but it looks like he isn't done with 2022 yet. His next is Repeat, a crime thriller, directed by Aravindh Srinivasan. The film will have a direct-to-OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar. The streaming giant had announced the digital premiere date of the thriller earlier this week - December 1. Smruthi Venkat plays the female lead in the project.

Roja actress Madhoo Shah essays a crucial role in the film as well whose supporting cast comprises Sudarshan, Satyam Rajesh, Pooja Ramachandran, Mime Gopi, Naveena Reddy, Kaali Venkat and Achyuth Kumar. While Naveen Chandra steps into shoes of an investigative officer in the story, Madhoo plays a senior cop. Earlier, the film was to stream on the digital platform on August 25, but was postponed to avoid a clash with the theatrical release of Vijay Deverakonda's Liger.

In the trailer released by the team earlier this year, a woman is kidnapped while another person is thrown into a waterbody. The modus operandi of the killer surprises Naveen Chandra at every level but he and his team pull all the stops together to trace his whereabouts. The cop even suggests that an IPS officer is more intelligent than a criminal. Incidentally, Naveen had also played a cop in two of his other popular releases - Nenu Local and Ammu.

Ghibran has come up with the background score for the same. The technical crew includes stunt director Stunner Sam, cinematographer Muthaiah, to name a few. Repeat is produced by PG Muthaiah and K Vijay Pandey. Disney+ Hotstar's latest release was the web series was Jhansi, starring Anjali, Samyukta Hornad and Chandini Chowdary.
