Updates of Asif Ali's upcoming film, Rekhachithram, are surfacing on social media. Recent reports claim that the movie is based on an investigation set in the 1980's. In an interview with a media outlet, the film's editor, Shameer Muhammed, also revealed that an AI character will be appearing in Rekhachithram. Earlier this month, the cast and crew of the movie, which stars Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan in the lead roles, released the poster on social media.

All about Asif Ali's Rekhachithram

According to the most recent poster, the movie is an investigative horror thriller. While the actor is unmistakably a police officer, Anaswara is dressed as a nun with a ghostly appearance. It makes sense to believe that the Thalavan star's character is looking into the odd nun's death. More details regarding the plot and the release date should be expected in the next few days. Meanwhile, the actor's fans are anticipating its release by the end of this year.

The producers have unveiled the poster along with the whole cast of the film, which wrapped up filming in July. Zarin Shihab, Bhama, Siddique, Indrans, Harisree Ashokan, Megha Thomas, and Manoj K Jayan will all have important roles in Rekhachithram. This film, which is being funded by Venu Kunnappilly and Anto Joseph under the auspices of Kavya Film Company and Ann Mega Media, was directed by The Priest-fame Jofin T Chacko.

Asif Ali's Thalavan to stream on Sony LIV

Asif's recent investigative thriller, Thalavan, which also starred Biju Menon in a prominent role, will be available for streaming on Sony LIV starting on September 10. With a 60-day theatrical run, the Jis Joy-directed film received positive reviews from the public when it debuted on big screen on May 24. For the most part of the movie, CI Jayashankar and SI Karthik, two police officials with different ranks, are at war with one another. The film delivers an excellent investigative thriller experience with an intriguing plot and outstanding performances.
