Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein' and 'Gangs of Wasseypur' to re-release in theatres, here’s where to watch on OTT

The trend of revisiting cult classic Bollywood films is only getting stronger after the re-release of Imtiaz Ali’s movies like Jab We Met, Laila Majnu, and Rockstar. It seems like a promising start for other producers and directors, as they are following in the footsteps of Imtiaz Ali. Recently, the makers of Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein and Gangs of Wasseypur also announced on social media that their movies will soon be available on the big screens once again. The major announcement is overwhelming news for fans of both romance and crime capers.   

Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein re-release date and OTT platform

Sharing an intriguing poster of the re-release, the makers of Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil announced that the classic romantic drama film will be re-released on August 30 (Friday). It seems like a promising weekend for both fans of the genre and the makers. “23 years later, love finds its way back to the big screen. Relive the magic of timeless romance with #RehnaaHaiTerreDilMein. Re-Releasing in Cinemas THIS FRIDAY 30th August 2024! Are you excited?,” the announcement post on Instagram wrote in the caption.  

Directed by Gautham Menon, Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein, also known as RHTDM, features R Madhavan, Dia Mirza, and Saif Ali Khan in a love triangle. The plot revolves around Maddy, who falls in love at first sight with Reena. Things take a turn when Maddy impersonates Reena’s potential arranged marriage match, Rajiv.

Although RHTDM will be re-releasing in all major cities and PVR cinemas, there are still some cities that might not be going ahead with the run because of a lack of resources. But still, fans can re-watch their favourite film, thanks to the streaming platforms and OTT culture. Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein is available to watch on JioCinema.  

Gangs of Wasseypur re-release date and OTT platform

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap also shared a gripping announcement poster on August 27 to drop the news about the re-release of the popular Gangs of Wasseypur films. The crime-comedy film stars Manoj Bajpayee, Huma Qureshi, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in prominent roles.

It will re-release on August 30 and run for a week at the theatres.
