The makers of Regina, starring Sunainaa in the lead, announced the project a year ago. After unveiling its first look, there wasn't any update about the movie for a while. A week ago, there was news that the actress was kidnapped during the shooting of the project.

However, it was later informed that her missing case was part of a promotional tactic the team resorted to. A few days ago, they announced that Arya will be unveiling its teaser from his social media page.

The one-minute promo video doesn't reveal the film's plot, but offers a glimpse into the action drama which revolves around a bank robbery that turns the life of a young woman topsy-turvy. How she witnesses a slew of unexpected incidents in her life, including death threats, form the rest of the story.

Domin D'Silva has directed the movie produced by Sathish Nair of Yellow Bear Production. The latter himself has composed music for Regina which has Pavi K Pavan cranking the camera and Toby John handling editing. Director Domin himself has choreographed action scenes along with  R Sakthisaravanan while he has collaborated with Viji Satish in dance sequences.

Nivas Adithan, Rithu Manthra, Ananth Nag, Dhina, Gajaraj and Vivek Prasanna among others play pivotal roles in the project which will be distributed by Sakthivelan of Sakthi Film Factory across Tamil Nadu. The makers are yet to announce its release date.

It is expected that the release date will be revealed along with the trailer which is likely to be unveiled later. This will be the first outing for Sunainaa this year; she was last seen in Laththi opposite Vishal last year.
