To start with Regina, you are someone who has kind of been there done that at such a young age whereby people take ages to achieve the kind of stuff that they have achieved so far. For a person who doesn't know what kind of a phenomenon is Regina Cassandra all about, how would you like to describe yourself?
That's the worst question anyone can put to me, because I always like, leaving it to other people to decide what they would like about me good, bad or ugly. And I'm okay with. So, if I have to tell you, if you want to know anything about me, I just have to probably meet me.
If you're new to Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, and you're supposed to write your profile on that. What will you write?
Hey! In any case, my bio on Twitter says “The show must go on”, which is also my showbiz and life’s philosophy.

How has been your showbiz journey so far?
In my childhood, I had learnt the poem titled ‘The Road Not Taken’ by the poet Robert Frost. The lines were, “Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both. And be one traveler, long I stood, And looked down one as far as I could… To where it bent in the undergrowth”. Somehow, the poem and the lines got stuck to me. its inly twenty years later that, ‘What you seek is seeking you’. It struck me much later that I was already the kind of person that chose the path less travelled by. And, that's who I have been. Always. So, this entire journey of mine has pretty much been that if I have to prove it in one way. Showbiz happened for me very organic. And I never, I was always told, in fact, back in 2013, that I wasn't aggressive enough to be in this field.
Having done so many body of work so much… are you satisfied the way your career has shaped up so far?
I am totally satisfied and content with my work.
In what way, Regina, you feel that OTT has helped you get the Pan-India work besides the regional ones?
I think the visibility itself in my line of work.
You had taken a break from films to complete a graduation in psychology. How important is education to you a and what advice would you give to older students who want to make it in showbiz?
Studies are important. But I would want to tell the parents to encourage their children, because, it is only the parents who will give the freedom to their children. Its also important to strike a balance between studies and extra curriculars.
Were there any apprehensions doing the role in ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’?
The challenge back then was not my parents. It was from the people who came to me and said that, ‘For heaven’s sake… its your debut Bollywood film and not even your main lead. And for someone like you, you should be the main lead... and many things like that. There were not even a ‘Are you sure?’ It was a straight ‘DON’T DO IT’. But, when I did (despite all the advices of not to do it), everyone around me were so happy for me and my performance. The film had touched so many hearts.
