Reeta Sanyal Trailer review: Adah Sharma’s courtroom drama tries hard to be quirky but fails to impress

Adah Sharma is all set for her next with Disney+ Hotstar's 'Reeta Sanyal.' The makers of the show have now unveiled the trailer of this courtroom drama promising a thrilling ride with a lot of laughter. However, we don't think so! Along with Adah, the show also stars Ankur Rathee, Rahul Dev, and Manik Papneja. The show is directed by Abhirup Ghosh. 

Reeta Sanyal Trailer Review

The trailer of the show starts with a scene where two adults are making out on a stranded road in a car and suddenly we see blood splashing on the window and a beautiful woman walking out of it with a knife in her hand and a lot of blood. The trailer then introduces Adah Sharma with multiple personalities. Adah as Reeta is set to lock horns with a fierce lawyer played by Rahul Dev, who is introduced as fighting cases for the criminals. 

While the makers try to add a lot of quirk to Adah Sharma's character, who is a lawyer by profession but takes on multiple identities to be a detective to probably solve the cases, her character brings nothing fresh but forced comedy. Although we cannot judge the entire show by the trailer, it is one of the most important aspects to decide whether to give it a try. More than the non-interesting trailer, it is also the trailer cut which looks quite unimpressive.

Sharing the trailer on their official social media account, the streamer captioned it: "Kanoon ki har ladayi dilchasp hogi, kyunki ab maidaan mein hai Reeta Sanyal Watch #ReetaSanyal streaming from October 14."
