After the success of two days of Geeked Week, Day 3 promised to be even better (In Jake Peralta’s voice, “literal chills” for what Day 5 will have in store for us). A few trailers, cast interviews, first looks etc were part of Day 3. Here’s a look at your favourite characters and the latest announcements.
Lucifer table read
The beloved cast of Lucifer went about a table read of the very first episode with Tom Ellis, who plays the titular character Lucifer, turning up the charm to a 100. Lauren Graham (Chloe Decker) did an apt and hilarious rendition of Lucifer which left everyone in splits. Bloopers of season 5 were also released which were just as fun as the show.
Meet the Witches from The School of Good and Evil
The hit book series written by Soman Chainani gave us a look at ‘The Coven’, played by Demi Issac Oviawe, Kaitlyn Akinpelumi and Freya Theodora Parks where they were interviewed by the author. It is set to premiere in 2022.
Fear Street by RL Stine
As kids, most of us would have flipped through RL Stine’s famous series, Goosebumps. The movie trilogy is set to take place in 1994, 1978 and 1666. The horror-inducing trailer has the potential for a great trilogy and features the alumnus of Stranger Things.
Gunpowder Milkshake
The movie promises a John Wick-ish protagonist and is filled to the brim with badass women, namely, Karen Gillian, Lena Headey, Carla Gugino, Michelle Yeoh, among others. Here’s another trailer which was revealed on day 3. It’s slated to release on July 16 in the US.
Stranger Things Season 4
We can hear all of the fans of the hit sitcom, Stranger Things, scream right now. Even though no release date has been announced yet, production of the show has begun. We have been introduced to 4 new members joining the fantastic cast as well. Grace Van Dien, Regina Ting, AmyBeth McNulty and Myles Truitt. That is not all; there is a six-episode prequel podcast and a book coming out revolving around our favourite Scoops Ahoy employee, Robin Buckley
