Netflix on Thursday unveiled its slate of new titles, featuring a variety of shows and movies, for the month of November. From the season 6 of The Crown to David Fincher's The Killer, the streaming giant has lined up a slew of interesting offerings. However, what has evoked everyone's curiosity is the mention of the title Leo in the slate.

As per the schedule, the title Leo is set to become available for streaming on November 21. However, this Leo should not be confused with the Thalapathy Vijay starrer Leo, which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

A tale of two Leos

The Leo in Netflix's November lineup is an animated movie and it revolves around a 74-year-old lizard. According to the official synopsis, "Leo in this coming-of-age musical comedy about the last year of elementary school as seen through the eyes of a class pet." It stars Adam Sandler in the title role, with Bill Burr and Cecily Strong in key supporting roles.

When will Vijay's Leo have its OTT premiere?

As for Thalapathy Vijay's Leo, it is also expected to arrive on Netflix in November . According to reports, the movie can have its digital release just four weeks after its exclusive showing in cinemas worldwide. This shorter OTT release window is also said to be the main reason why the movie's Hindi version was boycotted by the national multiplex chains in the North Indian states.

Thalapathy Vijay's Leo hit the screens last week amid a lot of fanfare and is shattering collection records of previous Tamil blockbusters worldwide. And the early confirmation of the movie's OTT release date might affect the movie's box office performance.
