Reacher, the American crime series based on the Jack Reacher books by Lee Childs, is returning for a third season. With Alan Ritchson in the title role, as a former US Army military police official, who now takes up sundry jobs and investigations, the show has been one of the most streamed on the platform, so much so that a fourth season has already been commissioned.
Season 3 of Reacher has got a release date and will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video on February 20, 2025, with a three-episode premiere, followed by weekly drops every Thursday. Like the first two seasons, this one will also have a total of 8 episodes.
In Season 3, Reacher is in a race against time to rescue an undercover DEA informant, but making matters tough for him is an opponent, Paulie, who is, quite literally, twice his size. Body-builder Olivier Richters, better known as the Dutch Giant, plays Paulie on the show. Reacher Season 3, according to reports, revolves around the showdown between Paulie and Reacher. Reacher will, as usual, also deal with some personal conflicts this season.
Maria Sten returns as Reacher’s former army mate Frances Neagley, but the rest of the cast is new, according to reports. Joining Ritchson, Sten and Richters are Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Roberto Montesinos, Daniel David Stewart, among others.

Created by Nick Santora for the screen, Reacher Season 1 was based on the 1997 debut novel in the series, Killing Floor. The second season then was based on Bad Luck Trouble, which came out a decade later in 2007. Persuader was published in 2007. The showrunners are yet to reveal which book will be adapted for Season 4, but shooting for the same is expected to begin in the first half of 2025.
