Vishnu Agasthya, who is known for films like Aalorukkam, O.Baby and 1001 Nunakal, has been receiving praise for his portrayal of the antagonist in the recently released action film RDX. Post-release of the film, Vishnu spoke about his experience during the shoot of RDX, his fellow actors, and more in an interview.

Vishnu Agasthya sings praises of Shane Nigam

Speaking to Silly Monks Mollywood, Vishnu praised Shane Nigam, one of the lead actors in RDX, calling him an exceptionally talented performer. Singling out Shane's performances in Bhoothakaalam and Kumbalangi Nights, Vishnu said that no other actor in India has portrayed characters like Shane has at such a young age.

"I became a fan of Shane's work when I met him during the shoot of RDX. He is a down-to-earth man who didn't seem to be too excited when I expressed my admiration for him. He was completely focused on his work and was thrilled to be performing stunts in RDX, as he had never done such intense action sequences before. He is also a skilled dancer and has handled the humour in RDX with ease," Vishnu said in the interview.

'Anbariv masters elevated RDX to another level'

The stunts of RDX have become a talking point. Speaking about it, Vishnu said that credit needs to go to stunt choreographers Anbariv for elevating the film. According to Vishnu, Anbariv are the backbone of RDX and are responsible for making RDX an excellent action film. The stunt directors paid attention to every detail, including lighting, to ensure that the scenes were well-monitored and executed perfectly.

RDX has been getting positive responses from most viewers and is regarded as the 'Onam winner', when compared to Dulquer Salmaan's King of Kotha and Nivin Pauly's Ramachandra Boss & Co, which were released at the same time. Directed by Nahas Hidayath, RDX has three main leads: Shane Nigam, Neeraj Madhav, and Antony Varghese.
