See photos The much-awaited title of Ram Charan and Shankar's upcoming project, which was until now referred to as RC15 has been revealed. The film has been titled Gamechanger and the makers released an intriguing cryptic motion poster along with the announcement on the occasion of Ram Charan's birthday today.The RRR star took to his social media handle and captioned the motion poster, "Game Changer it is!!!! (sic)." The short video features a roulette, which later seems to represent people.
The film's director Shankar revealed the reason why Ram Charan was indeed a gamechanger in the film industry. He wrote, "Happy birthday to the worldwide charmer @AlwaysRamCharan being fierce and daring on screen and a darling off screen makes you a #gamechanger @SVC_official @advani_kiara @MusicThama @DOP_Tirru (sic)."
Kiara, who plays the leading lady, called Ram Charan her ‘dearest friend’, and wished for this film to be a ‘game changer’! The actress wrote on her social media handle, “Happiest Birthday to my dearest friend and costar @alwaysramcharan !! May this truly be a Game Changer in every way @shanmughamshankar Sir #thirunavukarasu @musicthaman @srivenkateswaracreations @harshithsri @hanshithareddy #SVC50 #RV15 #HBDGlobalStarRamCharan (sic).”
The star cast of Gamechanger includes Anjali, SJ Suryah, Jayaram, Sunil, Srikanth, Samuthirakani, Naveen Chandra and Nassar. The story for the political thriller has been penned by Karthik Subbaraj. The film marks Indian 2 director Shankar's debut in Telugu.
The team had recently wrapped up a song sequence in the film after which they celebrated the birthday of Ram Charan on set. They had a pre-birthday bash ahead of the big day. Pictures from the celebration had gone viral on social media.
While Thaman is scoring the music for Gamechanger, cinematography is by Tirru and editing is by Shameer Mohammed. The film has been bankrolled by Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations. In the meantime, Shankar is also juggling between the shoot of Gamechanger and his upcoming Tamil film Indian 2 with Kamal Haasan.
