Ravi Teja’s nephew Maadhav to be launched by director Gowri Ronanki; project officially begins

Ravi Teja made a mark in cinema by assisting the likes of director Krishna Vamsi and played brief roles in a handful of films before his career graph took a turn with Sindhooram and Itlu Sravani Subrahmanyam. He is viewed as an inspiration by many who seek to the enter the industry without any Godfathers. The star is now on a high after scoring consecutive successes - Dhamaka, Waltair Veerayya.

Another generation from the actor’s family is set to make its presence felt in Telugu cinema. Maadhav Bhupathiraju, nephew of the actor and son to Raghu, will be making his acting debut with a youthful entertainer. The untitled film will be directed by Pelli SandaD fame Gowri Ronanki, a former assistant to K Raghavendra Rao. She has also written the story of the same.

The project formally commenced in Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad in the presence of director K Raghavendra Rao, producer Suresh Babu, producer Bekkem Venugopal, director Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao, actor Raghu recently. While Raghavendra Rao handed over the script to the team, Suresh Babu switched on the camera.

Producer JJR Ravichand, thanking Raghavendra Rao, Suresh Babu for gracing the launch, expressed his happiness to associate with director Gowri Ronanki after Pelli SandaD and back Raghu’s debut film. Ravichand earlier produced five films under Sambasiva Creations banner and another film with Naveen Chandra under JJR Entertainments as well.

Director Gowri Ronanki shared that the film felt like her second debut and thanked her producer for trusting in her and Madhav’s abilities. “Our composer Anup Rubens too liked the story and I’m sure his album will add value to our film.” The film will go on floors in April. With cinematography by Ram, the film will be edited by Viplav. Kiran Kumar Manne is the art director.
