Ravi Teja is often a man of few words during publicity campaigns but he unusually chose to open up, like never before, for the promotions of Ravanasura, his next release on April 7. He’s also a co-producer of the action thriller directed by Sudheer Varma that also stars Sushanth, Anu Emmanuel, Faria Abdullah and Megha Akash. He was optimistic about the film’s box office at the pre-release event held on Saturday.
“The art director DRK Kiran was very much in sync with our director and did a fabulous job with the sets. Vijay Karthik Kannan left me very impressed with his cinematography, his visualisation and lighting are evident in the promos. Cinematographers Divakar Mani and Prasad Murella chipped in with their contributions too. Shiva and Venkat were fantastic with their stunts. If there’s a reason you like my dances, it’s because of Sekhar master,” he said.
“Harshavardhan Rameshwar and Bheems Ceciroleo are one of the finest technicians I’ve worked with and they’re fabulous people too. I’m sure audiences will immensely enjoy Harsha’s music score. I am in awe of Srikanth Vissa as a writer, we’re also working for Tiger Nageswara Rao and other projects. He’s already risen to good heights and is also part of Pushpa 2,” the Dhamaka star added.
Megha Akash, Faria Abdullah, Daksha Nagarkar, Pujita Ponnada and Anu Emmanuel fit their parts perfectly - audiences will also confirm this soon, he opined. “It was lovely working with these beautiful women. I’m sure you all will hope to see me and Hyper Aadi together in many films; the timing has worked well. Editor Navin Nooli was the first viewer and he was happy with the result.”
He said producer Abhishek Nama is a good poster designer and has a fine understanding of music, while speculating his turn as a director too. “Sushanth is a soft person and I think he has opened up well through this character. You will witness a new dimension to him in Ravanasura. Sudheer Varma is a person who’s very close to my heart and I don’t say these words often. I promise you there’ll be unforgettable hysteria in theatres on April 7,” Ravi Teja exuded positivity.
