Raveena Tandon on Aranyak 2: So many questions remain unanswered in the first season

Raveena Tandon is riding high on the success of her OTT debut, Aranyak, currently streaming on Netflix. The film is a suspense thriller, also featuring Parambrata Chatterjee in the lead role. During an interaction, Raveena revealed that a lot of unanswered questions have to be solved, which means that the series is likely to return with the second season.

The actor told Mid Day that in the first season, there were a lot of unsolved questions. While in the end, the makers introduced a character named Rabbit. Raveena shared that it's necessary to describe his relationship with Kasturi, which is her character name. 

She also said that the characters must also investigate the half-man, half-leopard creature's trail, which is why people are curious as to what will happen next. Moreover, there are also many unresolved issues regarding Angad's (Parambrata) and Kasturi's relationship.

Raveena also credits the writers for the concept, penned by Rohan Sippy and Charudutt Acharya. The actor told the tabloid that the show sends the concept that women's families should gather around them and support them in achieving their goals. She credited the writers for comprehending what women go thru. 

Talking about her character, the actor revealed that Kasturi's layers reveal themselves as the first season progresses. She added that her character begins to speak in the manner of Angad, becoming softer as he becomes more forceful.

On playing varied characters onscreen and experimenting with her roles, Raveena went on to say that she has made a conscious effort to play a variety of parts rather than box herself in. It worked great for her whenever she had the opportunity to try something unusual.

Aranyak was released on Netflix in December 2021, and the renewal for the second season has yet to be announced officially.
