The new promo of Rautu Ka Raaz is out on social media. It has a special mention for Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Deepak Negi by Rajesh Kumar, who plays the role of SI Dimri in the film.

Rautu Ka Raaz recently premeired on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium. Directed by Anand Surapur, the film is about a murder taki ng place in Rautu Ki Beli (Uttarakhand), a village that had been crime-free for several years. In this film, Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the role of SHO Deepak Negi while Rajesh Kumar is seen as SI Dimri. The latest promo of Rautu Ka Raaz has Rajesh's character Dimri being hopeful about the fact that Nawazuddin aka Deepak Negi will be able to solve a warden's murder case.

ZEE5 shared an interesting promo of Rajesh Kumar's character SI Dimri talking about a murder in Rautu Ki Beli, a small village in Uttarakhand. He further informs Nawazuddin aka Deepak that it is suspicious death. When the SHO informs his team that no clue or evidence should be missed, Rajesh aka Dimri remains hopeful that Deepak Negi will be able to solve the case. "Negi hain toh mumkin hain," he says.

Sharing the promo on IG, the streaming platform mentioned, "Sirf naam nahi, Inspector Negi khud aa rahe hain SI Dimri aur team ke saath, saare raaz pata lagaane! RautuKaRaaz streaming now, only on ZEE5 (sic)."

How was Rajesh Kumar cast in Rautu Ka Raaz?

In an interview with DNA, Rajesh Kumar revealed how director Anand Surapur cast him in Rautu Ka Raaz. Rajesh recalled he was shooting with Nawazuddin for another project in Delhi when he was offered a role in Rautu Ka Raaz.

He revealed that director Anand walked in on the set to narrate the film's story to Nawazuddin. Later, he saw Rajesh on the set and asked if he was the same guy who played Roshesh in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. When Kumar said yes, Surapur asked the actor if was free to play the role of a cop in Rautu Ka Raaz. "I questioned him, 'Are you casting me right now?', he said, 'Yeah, I can look at you and I can say that you can play that role'," added Rajesh.
