Nawazuddin Siddiqui's film, Rautu Ka Raaz, is finally out for audiences to stream. Directed by Anand Surapur, the murder mystery film premiered on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium today (June 28). In this film, Nawazuddin essays the character of police officer Deepak Negi, who is tasked with solving a murder case in Rautu Ki Belli, Uttarakhand. As per the makers, this village has been free from care for over a decade. But a warden's murder in a school has left everyone shocked. The new glimpse of Rautu Ka Raaz sheds light on the same.

The streaming platform shared an exciting yet mysterious glimpse of Rautu Ka Raaz on social media. In this promo, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, as SHO Deepak Negi, begins a full-fledged investigation into a school warden's murder case. As he tries to connect the dots, it seems he is close to solving the case. But will he really succeed?

While sharing this video on Instagram, the makers wrote, "Negi aur ye gaon ajeeb hai ya nahi, ye toh raaz dekhne ke baad hi pata lagega! Watch now! RautuKaRaaz streaming now only on ZEE5 RautuKaRaazOnZEE5 (sic)."

In an interview with The Hindu, Nawazuddin Siddiqui spoke about his character Deepak Negi in Rautu Ka Raaz. The actor revealed the reason his character behaves in a certain way during the investigation.

"He is suffering from a personal trauma because of which he doesn’t sleep properly and behaves awkwardly during the investigation. There is a name for the condition," the actor said, referring to PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). Apart from Nawazuddin, the film stars Narayani Shastri, Rajesh Kumar, and others.
