After the sensational hit Kaavaalaa, instant chartbuster Hukum and retro number Jujubee, the makers of Jailer have now unveiled the lyric video of Rathamaarey. The slow-paced, but soulful track is a heartwarming melody that grows on you. Vignesh Shivan has penned lyrics for the track that has been crooned by Vishal Mishra.

The song stands out from the rest of the numbers in the album composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The lyric video features Rajinikanth, Ramya Krishnan, Mirnaa and Vasanth Ravi. The song conveys the emotional bonding Muthuvel Pandian (Rajini's character) has with his son, grandson and wife.

The family scenes featuring these characters are expected to appear in the first half of the film before the action portions begin. Rajini plays a person who has multiple shades. The mystery associated with his role is the driving force behind the movie's plot. How he takes on a powerful gangster forms the film's story.

Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Sunil, Tamannaah, Jackie Shroff and Vinayakan among others essay pivotal roles in the action drama that has been helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The movie's advance booking will begin in Tamil Nadu tomorrow, and fans are excited to the core.

Jailer is expected to take a huge opening across the world. Its first shows will begin in the US, Kerala and Karnataka around the same time. Box office enthusiasts are curious to know about the records the film is likely to create on day one and weekend.

The movie is touted as the biggest Rajini-starrer after Kabali in terms of hype and craze among cinephiles. Its advance booking in the US is inching close to $1M.
